Fatso sparks protests from fat rights group NAAFA
The National Association to Aid Fat Americans condemns parts of the film Fatso as offensive stereotypes of heavy people and says the movie’s overall portrayal is harmful, though they regard Bom DeLuise with some warmth. NAAFA notes the film’s title scene and depictions offend fat individuals while hoping for better long term representation.
