Washington The nation faces several years of rising controls taxes and shortages warned Defense Mobilizer Charles E Wilson in a nationwide radio broadcast about the 150 billion pay as you go rearmament program. He said higher taxes price and wage controls and further credit restrictions are coming. He also said unemployment will rise temporarily as factories convert to war production and promised to keep unemployment to a minimum. Wilson predicted shortages would be cured by increased production by 1953 unless a total war occurs. He cited a Bureau of Labor Statistics report showing wholesale prices at 183.4 percent of the 1926 average on Feb 20 unchanged from the prior week.
