Trash search for missing Ohio couple halted by storms
Investigators seeking clues to the disappearance of an elderly Ohio couple paused a landfill search due to approaching thunderstorms. The couple's car was last seen near an Interstate 75 rest area about 100 miles from Bellefontaine, with trash from the rest area dumped at Rumpke landfill. Crews worked five hours in rain, reaching a quarter of a one acre section as trash is compacted and up to 15 feet deep.
