The Elyria native, born to Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Iman in 1853, has long memories and a fervent work ethic, still keeping house and garden with support from relatives. Her quilting and poetry reflect a life of patience and faith as she approaches her centennial.

Lorain Man Stabbed After Night Club Argument
Victor Ortez of 2313 East Avenue Lorain was beaten and stabbed after an argument with five men at the Five Star Night Club on Elyria Avenue near Lorain. He identified two assailants, one held by Lorain police on an investigation charge. He was treated at St Joseph's Hospital for a deep stab wound to the abdomen and injuries.

Injured boy still reported fair after crash in Elyria
Edward Morse four, of 158 Clark street, was struck by an automobile in front of his home Monday and remains in fair condition at Elyria Memorial hospital. The driver, Sidney K. Sheldon of 127 South Logan street, was charged with failure to have his car under control. Skid marks show the boy was thrown about 30 feet.
