Ohio Plans Biway Bridge From Cincinnati To Georgetown
A proposed biway and vehicular bridge would span the Ohio River from near Coney Island twenty miles from Cincinnati to Georgetown Kentucky. It would be built by the Kentucky Ohio Terminal Company and Congress is urged to authorize the project. The plan was outlined in a state bill introduced by Senator Barkley and sent to the Senate commerce committee.

Murder in Athens County Sparks Bragging Suspect
In Athens County, 36-year-old truck driver Fred Brocka allegedly boasted of knocking out two men at a Brooks home party. Brooks was found slain, body harmed, as Barnes, a World War II veteran, was detained intoxicated but released with no charges. The killing marks a fourth in four months. Wilmington Ohio reports also note 85-year-old Lawrence Patton dying from injuries after a car collision. Patton, though wealthy, spent much time collecting and baling paper.
