Former Cabinet Member Dies in Oakland at 82

Fumes Fatal To Two Ohio Men
Two Ohio cattle dealers were found overcome by carbon monoxide fumes in a north side rooming house in Pittsburgh. Wayne Long, 20, of Batesville and Samuel Christmas, 55, of Malaga were discovered unconscious in bed. Long revived with oxygen. Christmas died. Fumes blamed on a flueless gas stove. They had driven 83 sheep and four calves to the stock yards.
