14 Ships Due To Arrive Today

Seventeen ships were scheduled to arrive at U S ports today with thousands of servicemen. The roster includes units from Headquarters and Headquarters Battery Batteries A B and B of the Lastrg AAA group Medical Detachments Companies B and Services Company Tank Battalion the 48th Quartermaster Company and other units. City Hall And Courthouse To Close Friday

City officials announced that city hall and the courthouse will be closed Friday February 22 in observance of Washington's Birthday a legal holiday. Mayor Agate noted parking meters are not officially operative on holidays.
