The Elyria City Board of Education moved a Lake avenue eight room grade school plan toward reality by approving preliminary designs. Architects Fox Duthie and Foose will prepare full plans to bid as soon as possible. The $50 000 to $55 600 project funds itself from existing building money, not a bond issue, with expansion potential and site on Lake near Morgan. The move aims to relieve overcrowding at Elyria High and Washington Schools and convert Jefferson School to a junior high by September.
