Boys Play Funeral Tragedy in Brooklyn Street Scene
Four boys staged a funeral in front of a Brooklyn police station with nine year old John Elliott as the corpse. 10000 Personal Tax Blanks Mailed in Lorain County
Personal tax blanks are being mailed to 16 000 persons believed to own taxable property. Clark Phinney, deputy county auditor, directs the mailing. Residents of Elyria without a blank are told to notify the auditor or obtain blanks from their bank. Elyria residents may get blanks at the courthouse. Returns run February 15 to March 31 with a March 31 deadline to avoid penalties. Returns cover all personal property used in business, airplanes, motorboats, farm machinery, implements, products on hand, tools and all intangibles except money in Ohio banks and stock in local banks and financial institutions.
