Warm Southwest Air Pushes Record High in North Ridgeville
Warm moist air from the south pushed temperatures to a record Tuesday with light rain and fog. North Ridgeville observer Ray Diederich logged 61 degrees between 1 and 2 pm while Elyria reporting 65 degrees at 2:50 pm. The prior record was 50 degrees set in 1961. The reading variance reflects differing measurement locations with about one tenth inch of rain reported that night.
