Krasienko Wins Ruling On 2011 Salary Relinquishment
Lorain law director Patrick Riley ruled Krasienko was entitled to a $3,073 refund after he revoked the 3 percent 2011 mayoral salary relinquishment. The ruling found the city’s failure to pay the full amount violated the law and Krasienko noted savings from not taking extra raises. Mantini accepted Riley’s decision. Krasienko, defeated in the 2011 Democratic primary, did not pursue further pay increases and emphasized his private life.
