Mixed results in current teen film wave
Review notes a range of teen and young adult films from Vision Quest to The Breakfast Club. It praises Vision Quest for warmth and sincerity while criticizing Mischief Flamingo Kid and Fast Forward for relying on stereotypes or formula. It singles out Falcon and the Snowman Turk 182 as adult-tinged with teen sensibilities, and questions Mass Appeal for failing to capture depth.
