Sewer work closes Gulf Road segment for months

Memorial service set for retired firefighter Mark Horton
Funeral processions will bring thousands to Elyria Catholic High School for the memorial honoring Mark Horton retired Elyria firefighter and Sheffield Township Trustee. A public procession from Cooper Foster Park Road to Broadway ends at the old firehouse and Elyria Catholic, followed by a second fire truck procession to Calvary Cemetery. Horton died in a Sunday crash on Route 58 in Wellington Township. Cody Wallace 21 of New London was the other driver.
