102-Year-Old Farmer-Basketball Icon Bob Fitch Remembers
The Avon native born in 1922 reflects on a life of farming and basketball from a 60-acre family farm to guiding generations. He spans World War II deferment, lean times of the Great Depression, and a love for Cavaliers games and orange sherbet. His family remains active in farming, coaching, and local basketball, with Fitch still connected to Avon High scenes and the market.
