Journalist Jeremy Levin freed from Lebanon captivity in Damascus
American journalist Jeremy Levin, held in solitary confinement for 11 months in Lebanon, was turned over to the U.S. ambassador in Damascus. He escaped by tying blankets together, saying he thanked God and his wife awaits him in Frankfurt. Levin described harsh confinement and noted four others may have been held with him.
