Fire destroys auto at Kipton
Kipton February 14. A large westbound truck loaded with paint burned and wrecked yesterday at Bates Corners north of here. The truck pulled up to Ed Christs filling station to refuel when an explosion started the blaze. Another truck moved the burning machine away but flames consumed the vehicle, leaving only junk. Cause of the fire remains a mystery.

Three Injured When Train Hits Automobile near Alexis
In Toledo on February 14 three men were seriously injured when their car was struck by a Michigan Central freight train near Alexis, a Toledo suburb.
