Latimer shooting followed break in at home in Howland
Candace Latimer told dispatchers her husband Latimer forced her and their daughter into a car after breaking into the home through a back window. She locked doors and drove away before Latimer could enter. She called 911 from a fast food restaurant with a borrowed phone after a relative reported Latimer threatening to kill himself. The incident was reported at about 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Howland Township home.
