Mrs. Wade Hotchkiss believes her missing husband, a World War veteran, is in Memphis. Corbett at Union Depot restaurant reported a man matching Hotchkiss description eating there with pale drawn features after two meals in successive evenings.
The State Utilities Commission rejected Logan Gas a s second rate request, keeping the first schedule and ordering a flat rate for the first 500 feet, with smaller charges for additional usage. The decision affects about 100 000 customers across 72 Ohio towns and fields, including Amherst Ashland Athens Bucyrus Elyria Fremont and many others.
Clara Ryan administratrix of Charles Ryan's estate sues the City of Lorain and Lake Shore Electric Railway Co. for damages of 5100. The accident on March 6 1924 on East Erie avenue saw Ryan's auto strike an electric car after the pavement failed to shed the wheel, causing fatal injuries. The suit claims poor road conditions and inadequate signaling contributed to the crash.

Jack Woods and Joe Holmes the Drake Hotel bandits were hanged in Cook County Jail for the murder of Frank Rodkey, the hotel cashier. The double execution marks a sensational hold up case in years and the first in Cook County since last summer's notable events.

New York story reports two siblings died in a bedroom window accident. Eight year old Harry fell through the glass and died from a fractured skull after landing on the sidewalk. Five year old Rose Rubenstein was dying later from injuries.

John Katrinchak sues James Varaday of Elyria for 5318 alleging he was knocked down August 27 1925 when a tire blew and the car veered off the road injuring him with a head injury and fractured ribs.
Alva Grimett was hanged today in Jacksonville for the murder of William Steele of Nortonville last September. The trap was sprung at an unspecified time and Grimett died 23 minutes later as 250 spectators watched, including Steele’s daughter Mrs Moore Hereford.
Washington Feb 13 The new federal tax reduction bill moves to a conference as House and Senate dispute provisions. The Senate plan would raise 2.292 billion in revenue while cutting taxes 456.251 million versus the House 327.161 million relief. Treasury Secretary Mellon warned it could widen the federal deficit. The bill drew mixed praise as democracy victory and millionaire relief, leaving a split Democratic party. In Gallipolis Ohio this week a double tragedy unfolded at a local cemetery during funeral services. Nelson Bonecutter aged 75 shot his spouse then killed himself after a separation and her refusal to return. The pair died from their wounds in hospital.
In Columbus Ohio on February 13, Mrs. Margie Boddy 43 and Harley Pence 49 were wounded after Pence shot Boddy twice in the breast then killed himself with a chest‑high shot. Boddy’s son Walter Boddy 16 is from Fostoria and Pence had reportedly supported Boddy and her five children since her divorce.
Bryan Ohio February 13 Super intendent Shaver of the United States Air Mail Service arrived from Cleveland to open an inquiry into the death of Pilot Art Smith who burned to death when his plane crashed into a tree near Montpelier Ohio shortly before midnight. Authorities are puzzled over the accident and Smith’s body remains at a Bryan undertaking establishment to be prepared for burial. Witnesses say visibility was good when the plane dipped into the treetop and burst into flames. Some air field staff suspect engine trouble but offered no official comment pending the investigation.
