A 10 member presidential selection committee approved by the LCCC Board of Trustees will meet at the college with Dr. Raymond J. Young to set criteria for selecting a new president. The group includes faculty staff and student representatives and will submit final candidates to the board by June 1 1971 with the board making the final decision.

Record of heavy losses as U S aircrews clash in Indochina
Twenty U S aircraft were reported shot down or crashed in Indochina with at least 16 Americans killed or wounded. The five day toll is among the heaviest since April 1967 as U S helicopters flew about 500 missions across the Laos border.
