Midview Faces Possible $430000 State Aid Cut
Midview School District could lose about 430000 if 1982 state budget cuts pass. Superintendent Terry Furin warned the board that remaining expenses through December 1982 may need heavy trimming. The district axed field trips, non essential orders, and some staff growth leaves while approving a no cost Lorain County Computer Literacy Project. Betty Smith retirement and Thomas Irish resignation were accepted, with JA Basic Business program planned for fifth and sixth graders.
