Lorain County to build law enforcement and firefighter memorial
Lorain County plans a 6 by 10 foot black granite memorial on the Lorain County Historical Court house grounds. The structure will be almost 7 feet tall with inscriptions for police and firefighters, six low walls, two meditation benches and an eternal light. Brass tags will honor those who sacrificed in the line of duty as local officials and chiefs voiced support.
