Kucinich urges probe into utilities amid coal strike
Cleveland Mayor Dennis J. Kucinich called for a nationwide probe of electric utilities to see if windfall profits arise from the coal strike. He cited CEI announcing a 10 percent bill hike and accused the firm of predatory rate practices while CEI blamed higher oil costs for the rise. He urged action similar to oil embargo probes.
