A BEA Elizabethan airliner crashed on takeoff from Munich Riem airport killing at least 14. Authorities feared a British soccer team and some sports writers were among the victims. Rescue squads searched wreckage as a BEA spokesman said only 10 to 15 of about 40 aboard might survive. Eyewitnesses saw the plane rise about 60 feet then plunge.
