Fatal Lorain Man Among Crash Casualties In Cleveland
One Lorain man, Henry Reed, 49, was killed and two others suffered serious injuries when his truck collided with a Cleveland Railway Co bus at Clifton Boulevard and West 112th Street. Elyria man Harry Fleisher, 43, had a fractured skull. Harry Mooney, 43, and Charles Brown, 51, were injured. The four men had sought glass collection money and were en route home when the crash occurred. Elmer Fairbanks, 27, a bus passenger, also hurt. Witnesses said Fleisher steered left to pass an automobile and struck the bus. the bus rolled, ejecting two occupants and pinning two in the cab. The injured were taken to St. John’s Hospital.
