Fire in unoccupied cottages in Paducah worsened flood fears as three dwellings and the Indepen dent and Bradley Coal Co buildings were destroyed before suppression by the Coast Guard. Three youths aged 18, 19, and 21 were jailed in Lorain awaiting charges of auto theft and gas station robbery after a Vermilion stop.
