The Ohio Bureau of Employment Services reports Lorain County unemployment at 5.1 percent in December, down from 5.4 percent in November. The Lorain office shows 7.5 percent, down from 7.9 percent, while Elyria is 5.5 percent, down from 5.9 percent.
