The Chronicle Telegraph presents economist Jacob O. Kamm of Cleveland Quarries Co. with a forecast for Loram County in 1959. Kamm, a PhD economist and author of 80 works, formerly led Baldwin Wallace College economics and has chaired multiple corporate boards. He became Quarries president in 1953 at age 35.

They rejected a Soviet free city for West Berlin while preserving their rights to garrisons and free access. The Ohio Supreme Court upheld lower court rulings favoring annexation of part of Brownhelm Township to Lorain over incorporation as a village. The decision ends this injunction appeal by pro incorporation residents led by Atty Hub Bard Wilcox. The next step depends on Brownhelm Township residents' forthcoming choice.
Legal action in the Brown heim dispute winds through courts and keeps the Ford Motor Co plant on the township rolls as real estate value for 1958 and 1959. The valuation totals more than 357 million, bolstering township coffers via tax revenue during the litigation.
