Lorain woman rescued as car bursts into flames
Three persons pulled Peggy T. King from a wrecked car on Case Road as flames ignited the engine. King, 37, of Lorain, underwent hip surgery and remained in serious condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital with head injuries and cuts. Fire officials said gasoline spilled in the engine compartment caused the car to ignite quickly.
