Mrs Thomas Hebron testified in Lorain about a criminal assault case involving Hom Shee 33 wife of a Chinese laundryman and mother of six. She claimed the attack did not occur and that she and her husband were together at the Hebron flat all afternoon last April. A niece testified she arrived after 3 p m and did not see Hom Shee in the Hebron apartment. Hom Shee testified she came to Lorain about ten years ago. Prosecutor Har ding rested his case after witnesses were barred, leaving Hom Shee and neighbor Edna Traster to recount seeing Hom Shee enter the Hebron home and later crying at the foot of the stairs. The defendant is expected to testify this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

Two Cincinnati Firemen Are Badly Hurt
Cincinnati, Dec 29. Two firefighters were carried from the ruins of a four story waterfront building after a $10,000 blaze. Charles Hopper, 32, and Herman J. Brockman, 50, fell 50 feet through a sky light obscured by smoke and were critically injured. Other firemen feared hurt but were later found safe.

State Senator Injured Two Killed
In Ontario near Grimsby five automobiles collided on an ice covered road. State Senator Joseph N. Ackerman and his 15 year old son Herbert were injured after suffering cuts and bruises. Two Men Die In Auto Crash West Of Alliance
Two men were killed early today when their car skidded on the Alliance Massillon road six miles west of Alliance and struck a telegraph pole. The deceased were William D. Krieger 35 of Massillon a former policeman and Arthur Lock 22 a soldier on furlough stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison Indianapolis Ind. The car driven by Krieger skidded and hit the pole as the driver tried to swerve into a side road. Lock was visiting his parents in Massillon.
