Death summons William C Notley pioneer Elyria resident
William C Notley, age ninety two, died Saturday at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a Christmas Day ice fall. Born on Guernsey in the English Channel, he came to America in 1871 and lived in Elyria for 59 years. He was a longtime member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge. He leaves five children, seven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services Tuesday at Sudro Funeral Home with I O O F and Rev. William Muir Auld officiating.

Howard Thompson of East 0th Street Lorain was found along Pearl Road near the Lorain city limits with a compound fracture of the right leg and body bruises after a hit-skip incident last night. He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital by John Chisman of Elyria who saw him at 9 p m. Thompson could not provide police with definite information about the cause.

The Peoples Bank of Oberlin alleges he obtained money by false pretenses. prosecutors plan perjury charges for falsely swearing at marriage license. Waldecker claimed truck driver as occupation and Toledo as residence. deputies were dispatched from Chicago to return him.
