Dec 29 The fact ory run by and for its employes functioned smoothly the first day. It was the plant formerly owned by Henry A Dis, millionaire employer of New York and Millville, N J., who announced that he would turn his $1,000,000 a year dress manufacturing business over to the workers as a reward for their faithful service and who put the announcement in effect yesterday. He reduced his own salary at the same time, from $60,000 to 60 cents annually. He also loaned the employer $250,000 cash capital with which to carry on the business. They are to pay for the blocks of stock they receive out of the future profits of the business. Apples Golden Rule.
