Ohio lawmakers seek daily minute of silence in schools
Reps Don Gilmore and Michael Stinziano propose a statewide requirement for public schools to hold a daily one minute period of quiet within the first hour of each school day. The plan lets students reflect or pray, with teachers not obliged to provide the time. They aim to introduce the bill next legislative session.
