Christmas visits and memories from a community worker
A columnist recalls a hectic pre Christmas week visiting five Columbus area institutions and delivering Betterway papers. He plans more visits to Mansfield Reformatory and juvenile facilities, notes familiar staff and former wards, and shares personal letters from a former detainee Janet, along with news of a fatal bar incident and the death of Numa Vidal. The piece ends with New Year reflections and gratitude.
