Collectors Turn Avon Sun Room Into Department 56 Village World
Marilyn and Les Demaline of Avon create annual winter displays in a 200 square foot sun room featuring 19th century New England and London villages from Department 56. Carol Wilcox joined, keeping some pieces up year round, as Buckeye 56ers members share displays, tips, and shopping notes across northeast Ohio. The club, led by Elyria resident Donna Shaffer, has about 100 members and meets bimonthly. For information, write Buckeye 56ers P.O. Box 1747 Elyria Ohio 44035.
