Three Injured In Amherst Traffic Collision Report
Three people were treated at Amherst Hospital after a Route 294 crash west of Route 57 at 12 45 am. Robert W Hall 33 of Foster Park road said his turn into a driveway was hit head on by Martin Fitch 17 of Elyria Avenue sustaining cuts and a possible collarbone fracture. Martha Hall 32 was admitted for X ray. Fitch had facial and knee injuries. A separate arraignment fined Robert A Miller 33 for driving under the influence after his car damaged a fence and utility pole on Parsons road. Harold Archer 40 lost control on Pyle South Amherst road and struck a ditch. A truck loaded with pipe collided with a Lima Transit Co bus on Grafton road at Oakwood street. driver Clyde Baker. Gene Rastetter of Wooster drove the truck. Joseph Prokop of Cleveland reported damage to his left rear fender on Diagonal road from an unknown car that did not stop.
