The Ohio Turnpike will raise cash tolls on January 1 for a 241 mile cross state trip. Cash tolls rise to 61 dollars with a six dollar jump for trucks cars pay 16.50 and EZPass users pay 11.25. The increase aims to shore up future budgets and debt now at about 600 million. The Ohio Trucking Association opposes the hike warning drivers may divert to secondary roads.

Man Arrested After Domestic Violence Threat With Handgun
On Tuesday at 3:22 p.m. in the 900 block Livermore Lane Marty Sharpnack, 51, was charged with domestic violence for allegedly telling his wife she deserved to die and for holding a handgun in her presence. Two handguns and a shotgun were seized from the residence.
