Man hospitalized after SUV crash in Berlin
Bert Locke, 38, of Oberlin, was trapped when his navy blue 2004 Ford Escape rolled onto its passenger side after veering from the road and hitting a tree in the 300 block of Washington Circle around 10 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters freed him after about 45 minutes. He was treated at MetroHealth Medical Center and discharged Wednesday evening.

Lorain County Transit Hikes Fares Across 2012 2013
Lorain County commissioners approved a 50 cent fare increase for 2012 raising single tickets to 2.85 and Dial A Ride to 8. Avon Lake man gets five months for restroom voyeurism taping
