Gov. Ray Blanton faces a grand jury in Nashville amid a widening pardon peddling inquiry. Witnesses include Pardons and Paroles Chairman Charles Traughber and Corrections Commissioner C. Murray Henderson. Blanton has offered limited comments since aides were arrested. FBI affidavits suggest Blanton knew of or participated in bribes. a judge warned authorities he may have unlawfully delegated authority.
