Man Pleads Innocent After Century Block Burglary
John Cox, 23, of West Avenue, was arrested last night for breaking into the Household Finance Co. on the Century block's second floor. Bound to the grand jury under a $1,000 bond, he was found hiding in the Knowles & Sniezek basement stairway. Residents alerted police at 10:38 pm after sounds of breaking were heard. Cox allegedly fled when told to surrender.
