Brian Howard Smith 61 of Blacksburg and Eggleston Virginia died November 30 2013. He was born March 25 1952 in Oberlin Ohio and worked as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Blacksburg for 24 years. He supported the Warm Hearth Foundation and the Pearisburg Lions Club. A Celebration of Life will be held December 21 2013 from 1 to 4 PM at Prestis in Oberlin. Memorials may go to Warm Hearth Foundation. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home Blacksburg Virginia.
James W. Exline 71 of North Ridgeville formerly Grafton died December 15 2013 after a long illness. He was a retired Midview Schools bus driver and owner of Hang Ups by Exline. He leaves a daughter Heidi and son Ben plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service is December 23 at Liston Funeral Home with burial at Brookdale Cemetery. Memorials to Grace Baptist Church are suggested.
Danica Donna Nonevski nee Mlade novska died December 17 2013 at 81 in Lorain Ohio. Born Slivnica Macedonia she and Teodore immigrated to America in 1972 and settled in Lorain in 1974. She worked at Lorain Products and was a parishioner at St Clement Macedonian Orthodox Church. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery followed a December 21 service at St Clement Church.
Pauline J Tribble 85 of Elyria passed away December 18 2013 after a brief illness at Wesleyan Village in Elyria. She worked 26 years for Presti's Restaurant in Oberlin and enjoyed church cooking crocheting gardening knitting and family. Survived by daughters Vivian Sue Belinda Kathy Connie and Millard Jr son in law Ronald Mitchell 12 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral service 11 AM December 21 2013 at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home Elyria with burial private. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland area chapter. Bruno Long Dlugosz 82 of Amherst died December 16 2013. He was a 39 year Ohio Edison lineman and served 25 years on the Amherst Volunteer Fire Department. He leaves a son and two daughters, several grandchildren and siblings. Visitation December 19 at Hempel Funeral Home Amherst and graveside service December 20 at Rest Haven Memory Garden Avon.
Richard O Williams 91 of Amherst died December 17 2013 after a brief illness. He owned Dick's Barber Shop in Amherst for 39 years and worked at several local employers. He served in the US Navy during WWII and won the 1995 Amherst Golf Championship. He leaves wife Virginia a daughter and son five grandchildren six great grandchildren and a brother.
