Cleveland Teachers Get Pay Increases

Cleveland School Board approved a new 1947 salary schedule with cost of living raises ranging from 150 to 400 dollars. In Akron area a legal filing claims farmers Mike Foo and Peter C. Zuni Jr. lost 6 acres of land due to an overflow affecting their dining area. Lausche Sees President. Talks on Bridge Hospital

Ohio Governor Frank Lausche met with President Truman in Washington. He said the talk covered efforts to purchase the Cainy bridge State Hospital, held by the state and leased from the federal government. Fort Knox Collision Kills One, Injures Two

At Fort Knox a car crash left one person dead and two others injured. Authorities identified the deceased as Carl Wilder and noted the two injured were transported to a hospital.
