Strip Club Permit Denial Overturned by Ohio Court

In 2010 a judge voided the strip club permit denial by the Athens County zoning board. The 4th District in 2011 ruled board members cannot weigh morality, only permitted uses. A federal suit followed. Judge Markley refused to dismiss, noting nude dancing as expressive conduct protected by the First Amendment. Sirkin said he expects a favorable jury verdict for his clients.
