Lorain county to review $6 million IRB package Tuesday

The Lorain County Economic and Development Corp will consider four industrial revenue bond applications totaling 6 million at 11 am in the Lorain County Administration Building. Proposals include Sparkle Market expansion in Grafton with 1.2 million bonds and about 20 new jobs, and three other projects in Lorain and Midway Industrial Park with payrolls ranging from 140,000 to 390,000 and multiple positions. Construction dates span January 1986 to September 1987.

Wilkes Villa to receive $600,000 facelift grant

Lorain residents will hear at 1 p.m. Wednesday how a $600,000 HUD grant will modernize the 192 unit Wilkes Villa low income complex on Fuller Road.
