Trunken Driver Fined Sixty After Accident
John Rourke aged 31 of 249 Bath Street was found guilty of driving an auto while intoxicated and fined 60 dollars plus costs by Mayor Harry Hinkson in police court after a trial yesterday afternoon. He struck Mrs. R. E. Jackson at West Broad Street and East Bridge Streets on November 29. Nine witnesses testified. Rourke denied the charge. W. Gilfillan of Cleveland, riding with Rourke, was fined 1 dollar and costs for intoxication after pleading guilty.
