Pedestrian identified in fatal Lorain Road crash in North Ridgeville
North Ridgeville police identified 51 year old Robert Murdoch of Cleveland as the pedestrian killed Saturday after being struck by a westbound truck and an eastbound car on Lorain Road near Motel 6. Murdoch was crossing to reach the Speedway gas station and died at the scene. The drivers are not charged as the investigation continues.

Vermilion School Renewal on March Ballot
Vermilion voters will decide a 9.96 mill five year renewal that would raise about 4.25 million annually. The renewal stems from a 2011 merger of two levies. the measure passed with about 60 percent and would replace expiring levies set to end in 2012.
