Four Lorain County Bigs of the Year honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters
The organization named Cheryl Hribar and Bill Scott as community based Bigs of the year and Taylor Lowman and Clarence Williams as school based Bigs of the year at a Lorain County Community College holiday event. Hribar mentors Molly, 11, in an arts and crafts driven program since 2010. Scott mentors Alex for three years and cites a new outlook on kids with disabilities. Lowman, a Brookside High senior, mentors Adam, a fourth grader, with weekly meetings aiding his behavioral progress.
