Civiletti presses Iran case at Hague ICJ hearings

U.S. Attorney General Benjamin Civiletti told reporters in The Hague that Iran violated every principle of international law and threatens U.S. interests as he outlined America's case before the International Court of Justice. He traveled to Holland at President Carter's request to seek interim hostage relief at 3 p.m. local time.

Elyria woman seeks petitions for hostage aid in Iran

An Elyria wife revealed her husband is among 50 Americans held in Iran and urged a petition and post card drive calling for the hostages’ immediate release. Cherlynn Hall, wife of Army Warrant Officer Joe Hall, returned from a State Department briefing in Washington as families organize the drive and sign the original Shah return petition.
