Five members of the American Legion Auxiliary were prize winners at the annual Christmas party at Grassie’s Wayside Inn in Amherst. Winners included Elyria residents Mrs. Howard Kreeger Mrs. Florence Vanover Miss Nancy Haas and Mrs. Ai Uelein and Mrs. Cleo Flock. Poems were read by Mrs. John Worthington. Miss Haas Mrs. George Krieg and Mrs. Evelyn Botamer also performed. A gift exchange followed and Mrs. Uelein led the group in prayer.
