His son Laon, 18, escaped the shaft with minor injuries. The accident occurred around 11:30 am yesterday while Ford and his son were clearing rocks in the well. The scene drew onlookers as the timely rescue unfolded under tense conditions.

Woman Bound Over On Cutting To Kill Charge

Godbold was hospitalized with a severe throat cut and arm injury, with 27 stitches for the throat wound and 15 for the arm.
