In Elyria state senators consider extending the May primary filing deadline if House Bill 444, adding two judges to Lorain County Common Pleas, passes the Senate. Blessing plans an amendment to delay the filing and make the bill take effect on governor signing, with potential new judges in the General Division and Domestic Relations/Juvenile Court.
